What oils do you use regularly on your face?
- applying this over your entire face can do amazing things for your overall complexion. Anytime I’m applying oils to my face, I also like to top it with coconut oil to seal them in. When they’re not sitting on top of your skin without a moisturizer they can evaporate quickly. But adding a moisturizer makes them last longer and give them more time to absorb into your skin.
-You can also add 1-2 drops of Lavender into your mascara for a boost in growth.
-After spending time in the sun or experiencing a sunburn, apply Lavender to sooth the skin.
+Frankincense - The oil of oils for aging. This is every woman’s secret weapon and fountain of youth!!! Use this one!!! I put a roller on the end of mine and roll down the lines on my face every night, also the back of my neck and across my pregnant belly!
+Lemon - Apply to blemishes when needed. It’s also great for detoxing your skin. Apply it along with coconut oil or Cel-lite Magic Massage oil in some of “those” areas wink emoticon ! *Just sayin*
+Copaiba - One of it’s notable benefits is its astringent properties. This is a great option for tightening the skin. Apply over entire face and seal with coconut oil or moisturizer.
What do you normally start with in your skincare routine? What oils do you use regularly on your face?
Have you heard of the app called, “Think Dirty”?
Worst name, I know, but it’s an app that you can download on your phone and search your own beauty products. It tells you how many carcinogens, toxins etc are in them. Then it rates them on a scale of 1-10 regarding how dangerous it is to use. In the United States, beauty products are not regulated closely so you never know what may be lurking in your products.
I strongly recommend downloading this and going through what is in your bathroom, it is VERY eye opening! Even things you would never expect!!
Here are a few makeup brands that I feel confident about. Not only do I love them overall but I don’t worry about applying them after applying oils to my skin. I have been using them for a year now and have never been happier, PLUS they have amazing prices- win win!
Be sure to research what is going on your skin! If you only had two seconds to grab one makeup product before running out the door, what would it be?
